Charlene Mae Bonnin Gonzales Muhlach is a television and film personality and former beauty queen from the Philippines. 
Born to actor Bernard Bonnin and model/beauty queen Elvira Gonzales, and with brother Richard Bonnin an actor himself, Charlene is also in the Philippine showbiz bandwagon.
Gonzales won the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 1994 title and represented her country at the Miss Universe 1994 pageant held in Manila, where she won the Best National Costume award and landed in the top 6 finalists. She produced one of the most famous answers in an international beauty competition. When asked by the host about the number of islands in the Philippines, she boldly asked back, "Hightide or lowtide?"
She is presently married to Filipino actor Aga Muhlach and has twin children named Andres and Atasha. She is also a talk show host and a commercial model.

It's been made clear to me -after having watched their pre-wedding interviews, that Aga had married Charlene because he can foresee forever with her. Of course, no one in their RIGHT MIND will do anything in life -especially as steep a step as this, without vision! Charlene Gonzalez has a quality that no other woman can offer Aga...and truthfully...from what I have seen on TV. these days...don't even come close to the virtues that Charlene carries with her. It's too bad that she has thus far been inundated with false characterizations with respect to her entertainment career. If Philippines really want to use this precious commodity that she is...they would let her reign as a host!
