Claudine Margaret Castelo Barretto Santiago or Claudine Barretto , the Optimum Star (born July 20, 1979 in Manila, Philippines)is a popular tv and movie actress in the Philippines today with numerous movie and teleserye hits under her belt.
Barretto is the pioneer of ABS CBNs elite circle of homegrown talents properly named Star Magic.
She is the daughter of Miguel Alvier Barretto and Estrella Santiago Castelo. She has six other siblings named Mito, Mitchie, Jay-jay, Gia, Gretchen and Marjorie. Gretchen and Marjorie are also actresses. She and actor Raymart Santiago were married last March 27, 2006 in Tagaytay Highlands in Tagaytay City, Cavite.

Claudine is very pretty, smart, friendly (I hope), and most of all she's modest. Although, she has such a great figure, she tends not to show it off! She's natural and not like the other Filipina actresses that has to reveal everything just to get people's attention! Everyone should be like Claudine. Also, Rico's death is I believe it was of natural causes. How can that be Claudine's fault? Rico's family should get over that already! Because in every relationships, couples argue. No one is perfect!
